About guest speakers:
Dr. Dydia DeLyser and Dr. Dan Trudeau have successfully led 3 sole and collaborative seminars for graduate students at AAG Learning Series for Graduate Students. The feedback we received from participants is quite positive thus far, the seminars helped them to write their theses and dissertations.
Dr. Dydia DeLyser is a qualitative geographer whose written work has been celebrated for its prose craft, and who has taught courses, led workshops, and published extensively on academic writing. She will focus on productive resolutions to many of the challenges of academic writing, with special attention to overcoming the additional hurdles posed by the pandemic.
Dr. Dan Trudeau has over 20 years of experience with qualitative research and has completed more than a dozen projects. He has shared this work in a variety of platforms, including academic journals and technical reports. He is a former chair of the AAG's Qualitative Research Specialty Group and routinely teaches qualitative research methods.
