Abstract
By now the world is well aware of the disease caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus discovered in 2019, COVID-19. According to the John Hopkins Coronavirus Dashboard, by early December 2021 the world has seen over 250,000,000 cases of the disease and over 5,000,000 people have died. Incidences of disease and death do not appear to be equally distributed, however; and a wide-range of factors are thought to play a role in disease prevention including the use of mask and vaccine policies. While several studies already link United States counties voting records from the 2020 election with incidences of COVID disease and death, this study aims to consider the location of college campuses and the decision of those campuses regarding masking and vaccination policies.
